The Secret Life of a Care Bear

First, giant spiders are taking over my apartment. It’s creepy and gross. I do not approve!

And now, a list of “pets” that I would like to have, as compiled by Kirsten and I at lunch yesterday:

1. A baby gryphon (That talks! Also, I won’t mind when it grows up, I just want it to start as a baby!)

3. A little owl that will carry my mail and also communicate telepathically with me.

Don’t try to give me any of this June 21 or 22 or whatever. June = summer. So happy summer, everyone! Here is the list of things that I plan on doing this summer (with commentary, of course):

• Swim laps three days a week (or more, but 3 is already a stretch)
• Cook lots of yummy, summer dinners to eat on the patio (instead of eating McD’s on the porch…)
• Do laundry as soon as there is a full load (instead of 10 full loads!)
• Vacuum and dust at least once a week (by vacuum I really mean turn on the Roomba)
• Get my piano moved from my parents’ to the duplex so I can play!
• Read lots of books (this is probably the most likely to happen)
• Update my blog
• Get pregnant (no, really, not kidding!)
• Lose 30 lbs. (ideally this happens because of the swimming and cooking)
• Not kill the environment by running the a/c constantly
• Take lots of walks with Mark
• Hang out with Kirsten all the time
• Make fun youtube videos with Kirsten, my favorite internet celebrity
• Go to small group more often
• Go to bed at a reasonable time so I can wake up when Mark goes to work
• Go to the beach! (so unrealistic, but I love the beach!)

Well, we’ll see how that works out…
